Wow! What a GREAT gem! We were passing through WV and stumbled on this place! It was Friday night at about 7 pm, and we were seated right away by a wonderful waitress with a kind heart and a beautiful smile- Gianna! The food was fantastic and superfresh! My salad was incredible, and the apple cider vinegrette was the perfect compliment to a salad loaded with cranberries, fresh apple slices, blue cheese crumbles, pecans- just the way I like it! The club sandwich was as pretty as it was delicious and dissapearred really fast! Our only regret was not having enough room left for dessert or an apple cider slushy. Loved the little market that you walk through to get to the restaurant, too! So many goodies!

Update: We drove through again on our way from NC., only this time we BOTH got the Cider Press Signature salad. By far, our FAVORITE salad ANYWHERE! What a great combination!! Pecans. Apples, blue cheese and fresh greens! Until next time! - 12/03/2023

Today was my first time eating here. It was excellent! I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The burger was by far the best I ever had. It was grilled perfectly with a grilled bun. The fries were prefect as well. I loved how they plated the food with the fries served in a cute little frie basket. Our server was amazing! We never had to ask to have drinks refilled and he was kind. Wish I would have tried this place sooner. Can't wait to try their evening menu. My son ordered the burger with pulled pork and apple butter on it. It was amazing as well. The pulled pork was tender with a wonderful smoky flavor. If I could rate it 10 stars I would. Recently ate here for the first time with my grandmother we loved everything we ordered 10/10 from us! 😋 I tried their pumpkin cider and apple cider both were delicious! Their crab dip and crab cake is sooo good! They also offer drink flights and dessert flights here! Stopped for lunch while driving up I81. We were seated at a two top booth that felt crowded. Andy noticed. Before we could ask, she asked if we felt cramped and offered a bigger booth .

Recommended by Andy, the smoker burger was fantastic. My wife's house made chips were delightful, The dessert flight of three was a real treat. We had the tiramisu, key lime, and chocolate peanut butter. All three were excellent and larger than expected for a sampler. Wonderful place, we will definitely stop again on our travels. I didn’t take the best photos, the food looked so good we started eating before I got pictures! This place exceeded my expectations! All of our food was delicious (we especially loved the pretzel sticks with beer cheese). The service was absolutely outstanding! Very nice atmosphere, nice people, and great food. For two people we spent around $50 (including appetizer) which in my opinion is a great price especially for a local place! Will absolutely be coming back again. 10/10❤️ - 8/29/2023 

The food was great. Our serve Thomas was very good. There is no pressure to order right away.
We were the only dining room guests, and our order took
long time.
The biggest complaint was the noise level. Mine you, we were the only guests at this time. The bar was right behind us, and there were 9-10 employees gathered around the bar and all talking at the same time. The level of noise was just unprofessional coming g from the staff.
The staff that we had contact with was very nice just loud.
The retail part was very nice. A lot of locally grown produce. And some fantastic pies.

A true West Virginia gem My wife and I stopped for dinner and throughly enjoyed the experience. Our waitress Alexa was spot on and extremely helpful. The food, wow. The food was unbelievable. The pretzel sticks with beer cheese were finger licking good and the burgers were the icing on the cake. Large and tasty, probably one of the best burgers we have ever had. Sorry we don't have a photo, but we enjoy real life so much we forget to take pics......The Cider Press is well worth the visit. We are from Maine and travel regularly. After 3 visits at different times over the last 6 months, (family dinner 1st, lunch visit for girl time 2nd, and tonight which was a couple's night to share my amazing find) I can tell you from a scrumptious salad to a sensational sirloin you will not be disappointed. In addition to delicious food you will find a happy and professional staff, clean and comfortable surroundings, and prices too good to be true for the quality you will receive.

Absolutely my favorite place to eat! Excellent friendly customer service! Good food! Love the interior country barn type setting! We eat out once a week at different places around WV and still by far my favorite place to eat is Cider Press. Don't pass without a stop! Needed a lunch break on 81 and Martinsburg had typical chain restaurants...wanted to support local and happened to find this a few miles south of Martinsburg. What a find! Cute little market inside selling fresh produce, pies and assortment of jellies and condiments. Inside the restaurant had great rustic/mountain decor and was decked out for the holidays. Food was better than expected and at a great price. Megan our server was very nice and helpful and threw in some pumpkin pie for us to try. We also bought a massive Apple Pie to bring home. So glad we stopped here on our way home. - 11/30/2021
